The theme for this year’s celebration is Strength in Community. We are honoring Marcia and Barry Schwalb and Elyse Besso; Susan Widerman Blog and Steven Widerman and Linda Bookheim; and Sue and Rob Seiler. We are recognizing them, and thanking them, for their decades of service to our congregation and to the greater community.
The date of the event is Saturday night, June 13th. We will be gathering at the temple around 6:00 for a small-plate dinner, drinks and dessert. Tribute messages will be scrolling. And the live program will start around 7:15. The cost for attending is $65 per person. Benefactors (see the Donate/Register page; that’s $1000 and above) get 2 free admissions.
Please attend, register, submit tribute messages and donate to this event. It is our major social and fundraising event for the year.
If you plan on joining us, you absolutely need to register, either here (on the Donate/Register page) or by submitting a paper form. (If you didn’t get one in a mailed invitation , contact the office for that.) Please don’t just show up that night. We won’t turn you away, but it messes up our planning.
Note: We will not be able to provide a live stream of the event this year. We will, however, provide a link for the video so you can watch it afterwards.
The program will include the introduction of the honorees, tributes, and presentation of gifts. After the ceremonies, the celebration will continue into the night, with more dessert and drinks.
